Disney Princesses on Ice
After much cajoling, emotional blackmail and nicely cooked dinners I finally convinced Adam that we should take Nevah to see Disney Princesses on Ice. Given the place was definitely going to packed with girls under 10 years and their Mum's Adam wasn't going to be keen to go, but when he found out it was on at the same time as the Crows match, he was even less keen. However, since he can't say not to Nevah we got tickets. She had been excited for about a month and asked every time we saw her if it was time to see the Princesses. She even had her outfit picked out for a fortnight. She was very keen to look swish for this momentous occasion. She looked very grown up.
She was also very excited to have feathers in her hair. The show was excellent and Nevah loved it. Especially the Little Mermaid wand she got, which nearly knocked out the poor woman sitting in front of us about five times.
Nevah's favourite part, and the bit she told everyone afterwards, was the dragon during Sleeping Beauty. Especially as it spat fire onto the ice - "but just a little bit".
