A Quick Update

Right I guess it's about time I updated you on what we've been up to. Though it shouldn't really take that long as we haven't been up to much really.

Last Friday we got the keys for our house, which was great. We have pretty much settled in, though I am sure there are about a million things we will realise we don't have yet...like a hoover! House warming gifts of cash are greatly appreciated!

The main thing about the new house is that is has 3 bedrooms, which means that we have space for visitors, so now you don't have any excuses for not coming over to the sunshine. You might want to bring a hat and some sunnies though it's currently around 40 degrees.

I also have a job. It's not a very exciting job, but it pays the rent. I am in a call centre for one of the big mobile phone companies. I activate new mobile phones and make sure they get delivered. Needless to say I'm not closing the job pages just yet.

Apart from that we have been really dull. We have shopped quite a bit to try and kit out the house with things that it needs, but apart from that we haven't done much.

The Adelaide Fringe Festival starts next weekend so we need to start booking up the tickets for that. It's much like the Edinburgh Festival, but with pretty much guaranteed sunshine. We have booked tickets for Ross Noble, but there are lots of other things I'd like to see too.

We have a week at a friends shack coming up too in the next few weeks. I think that basically means a week of fishing, barbecues, lazing in the sun and occasionally visiting a national park. It should be good.
